Programs may be unable to access some network locations

I have the following: Desptop PC running windows 8.1, W8_1, cabled Laptop running windows 8.1, W8_2, presently cabled Laptop running windows 7 Home Premium, W7, wireless Asustor AS-202T, NAS Netgear router. W8_1 can see itself and the other devices.
